With the Northern Ireland match now behind us, attention turns to the Macedonia and Iceland matches in just over a fortnight's time. As has been discussed on the forums, there is a couple of fans from the Yorkshire region who are travelling away but for the rest of us who will be here,
The Sports Cafe in Leeds looks like it will be the place to be as we begin our journey to South Africa.
There were a few fans in for the Northern Ireland match on Wednesday, and it looks like there could be a good atmosphere for first two qualifiers. We've received the following e-mail from Mike Reed, who is the manager of the Sports Cafe:
I met Tam from the Tartan Army watching the Northern Ireland game in Leeds Sports Cafe.
We discussed making this the venue for the next match on 6th September ( Kick Off 2pm).
We play host to the Tartan Army in Glasgow and we will be screening all the Scotland games with commentary here in Leeds. We'll also put on Matchday specials like our famous "Becks and a Burger deal for £ 5.00" along with
the chance to meet our " Soccerettes!!!!!!!!"
To book your place on the 6th call us on 0113 243 2300 at the restaurant and ask for MIKE REED. (I am the gaffer!!)
So if you're not of the lucky one's jetting off to Skopje or Reykjavik then get yourself down to The Sports Cafe to cheer on the boys!
